Background: Founded in 1995 by the members of Rho Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Ivy Legacy Foundation (TILF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity committed to making an educational, cultural, and societal difference in the Greater Philadelphia community. TILF was initially created to raise scholarship dollars for college-bound graduating high school seniors as well as non-traditional students pursuing higher education. To date, over $250,000 in scholarships has been awarded. The Foundation also supports other charities in our area due to the tremendous need that exists among our local population.
