Greetings from The Ivy Legacy Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of Rho Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. This year, The Ivy Legacy Foundation is celebrating the seventeenth annual Philly's Men Are Cookin': Philadelphia's Premier Celebration of Taste, a noble fundraising event that showcases the culinary talents of volunteer chefs, both amateur and professional, who prepare and serve their signature dishes for attendees to enjoy. While Philadelphia is known for hosting wonderful events that highlight the culinary arts, Philly's Men Are Cookin' is the only local event of its kind that is overwhelmingly attended by an affluent and influential African-American population. Your presence will make it an even greater success. As a result, we would like to extend to you a personal invitation to this year's legendary benefit.

For the third year in a row, The National Constitution Center, in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, will provide a stellar backdrop for our event that will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and will feature a VIP Reception, the Main Event, Silent Auction and Post Event Social. This event historically attracts over 1,000 guests and is guaranteed to be a fantastic evening of great networking, fabulous entertainment and delicious food in support of raising funds for our scholarships and community grants.
